My name is Marc Veenhuis I am 43 years old and I am from the Netherlands (Holland), I am very happy married to my wife Ingrid and we have a smart and lovely son we named Devon and I am a carnut.

About 9 years ago terrible pain in my back started and only 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Scheuermann disease, it means that the bones / joints in my spine are not grown regularly like they should be so now I´m disabled and wearing 4 braces every day (2 knee braces and a big and a small spine brace), I wear special shoes but still walking is almost impossible and very painful, the nerves in my spine cause me loose of feel very often what makes me fall.

But I found a hobby what makes it all easier to bear, ever since I was a very young boy, I love automobiles so I picked up an old interest about 7 years ago … cars. I started collecting car emblems and nameplates.

Because I´m not wealthy I try to expand my collection by swapping, trading and just asking if people have emblems they don´t use no more, for me exchanging stamps, coins, business cards, old license plates and other things is fun, last year I even send a pair of new clogs (wooden shoes?) for someone who sent me a box full of emblems, I love car emblems, the shapes, the letters, they locations they are mounted on cars, the materials what are used etc. My collection is not very valuable because I like old and slightly damaged emblems

Maybe some of you have emblems you do not use anymore, every emblem will be very welcome.
