For the last seventeen years I have been accepting various freelance contract work. These project are so numerous
and varied that I dare not try to include them here. Much of my web development experience has been freelance, as well
as many telephony-related, LAN/PC installation and maintenance, database development and general technology consulting
projects. As of March 2006, I am once again freelancing as my primary employment and I am actively
seeking new and exciting projects and challenges.

After the successful completion of the Discounts4Members administration site, the Orlando-based web design firm I worked with on the Discounts4Members
project has contracted me to develop
another administration site for their client First Priority Travel. This application will allow the client to have remotely
located travel agents to access online travel booking systems, and allow administrators to manage the agents and agent
activities online. This application is built with Coldfusion with a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database.

After successful completion of the Body Beautiful e-newsletter for Dr. Parungao, I have been contracted to
perform a complete makeover of his web site. Once again working with the team at Word Power Communications,
we are set to produce a world-class website. The graphic designs that have come to me through this affiliation
are second to none, and I am proud to add them to my portfolio! Expected completion of this 45+ page site by the end of
January '07.

| Mighty Mac Computers | 1/2007 | |
I acquired a used Apple Macintosh computer in December 2006 for the purpose of making my websites more Mac-friendly.
When I received the computer, I brought it to my local Mac shop to get checked out and to get some upgrades.
By the time I left the store, I had a contract to build a new website for Mighty Mac, and had begun negotiations
for a partnership in the store itself.
|
I have sold, serviced, networked and programmed PC's throughout my entire
career, and only serviced a few Mac's during my tenure with Lifespan, Inc. It is time to broaden my horizons and
become proficient with Macintosh. What better way than to own/operate a Mac service shop?
This site will again pull out all the stops and use every trick in my repertior. The concept is simple; a virtual
Macintosh desktop in a web browser. The interface will include all the basics of the Mac OS X interface, draggable
desktop icons, opening/closing windows, the 'Dock', embedded Mac sounds and a host of other DHTML and Javascript
techniques. By the end of this project I should have a pretty good idea of how to operate a Mac!
|
| Body Beautiful Newsletter | 12/2006 - 5/2007 |
My continuing relationship with Wordpower Communications in Chicago once again adds some of my best work to
this portfolio. A single page email newsletter campaign for a Chicago area plastic surgeon was quite a challenge.
This newsletter was coded through the web-based interface at Constant Contact. The experience of producing this
newsletter at Constant Contact will allow me to efficiently produce future email campaigns using this service.

After a successful launch of TensCam.com (below), Word Power Communications contracted me to develop their

coordinate hosting and develop the site. This site will have another implementation of the Paypal shopping
cart.

A marketing and design firm in Chicago, IL contracted me to implement a design for their client in Orlando, FL.
The graphic design, layout and content were all provided by the Chicago firm, and my job is to implement the
design exactly. This design was originally given to an e-commerce developer who was unable to match this design
within the framework of his e-commerce application. My implementation of the site uses the PayPal shopping cart
for easy integration.

www.dropshop.com
|
The Drop Shop, a specialty music store in Orlando, FL, contracted me to update their active music ecommerce site. An
extensive PHP/mySQL database driven website incorporating product database searching, full-featured shopping cart and
live Shoutcast Radio, this project has required sharpening of all my web development skills. This site is fully CSS
based to facilitate future look-and-feel changes. Numerous DHTML/Javascript elements created a challenge, and resulted
in an active-looking and functional page design. Development on this site also required the exercise of my limited
but growing Photoshop skills.

| Apparelism Journal | 10/2006 | | (Currently under development) |
Apparelism Journal, a weekly trade and lifestyle Newswire E-zine, contracted me to develop a simple but comprehensive
content and user management system. Based on graphic design by the sites editor, and built on a combination of
the mydailydriver.com content management system and the verification-center.com administration system. This
project promises to bring my system framework to the next level.
|
| Apparelism Journal Administration | |
This is another implementation of my system framework that will incorporate all the previous work on this
code base into a single comprehensive, replicable format. Development on this project is expected to continue
indefinitely. This will use primarily the content management features from mydailydriver.com, and a new
implementation of a shopping cart. Apparelism Journal plans several future additional websites, so this
will be the first multi-site/single-interface version of my application framework. This project will also call
for enhanced capabilities in user services, allowing the purchase and spending of 'credits'.

Industry Nexus, a Hollywood entertainment industry network of studios, agencies, production companies, record labels,
PR firms and ad agencies needed a quick and simple one-page design and a logo. A very simple job in Photoshop that

and the logo is designed from scratch. The login form at the top of the page was an existing PHP script from the
original Industry Nexus web site.

| World Hotels Voucher Redemption System | 9/2006 |
As a design proposal for multi-national travel corporation World Hotels, I put this site together. More than just a
design proposal, I used this as an exercise in re-use of code, as I have been for many years. Using mostly code
snippets developed for Verification Center, this quite functional site represents very little work. This was also
an opportunity to begin development of a Coldfusion/Access web-based POP3 email client. This new code was written into
the existing verification center framework to demonstrate the expandability of this system.

| Fallin' Pines Critter Rescue | 4/2006 |
"A friend of a friend" Fallin' Pines Critter Rescue was in need of a website rescue! The rescue had a simple web page up for
some time when a group of college students offered to create a new and improved site. After months of waiting, the new site
was short of the expectations. I created this site for them over the following two weeks. I also built a simple back end
management page to add/update/delete photo galleries and critters up for adoption, so the rescue can maintain the site
themselves. (HTML 4,Javascript/DHTML,Macromedia Coldfusion MX 7,Adobe Photoshop 7)
|
| Fallin' Pines Administration | |
The operator of Fallin' Pines Critter Rescue needed a simple web-based interface to manage specific areas
of content on the site. The first being the listings of critters available for adoption and second an image
gallery manager. Again I refined old code for the task. I used the framework from My Daily Driver for this
site and modified code from LocalTownBiz for the modules.

Once the basic site for Life Oceanic was online, I began work on a second version. The newer site had the goal of
being a bit more graphics oriented and eye-catching, as well as seeing the opportunity to resurrect Quik-Shop to develop
a new and greatly improved shopping cart. This site was in the early stages of development when I sold
my interest in the company. (HTML 4.01,DHTML / Javascript 1.2,XML/HTTP via XSLT 1.0,Cascading Style Sheets Version 2,

After taking over Life Oceanic, the company needed a website. I developed a quick company site in HTML, then developed
a simple shopping cart using Coldfusion, an Access database and integrated this into a PayPal shopping cart. While
not the prettiest or most complicated site I've done, it was up and running within days of taking over this company

Life Oceanic, Inc., Apollo Beach, FL
Owner/Operator |
08/2005-03/2006 |
- Owned and operated 7,500 sq. ft. wholesale marine tropical fish distributor.
- Managed and maintained 12 marine systems ranging in size from 1000-3500 gallons each.
- Conducted purchasing, receiving, marketing and sales of marine wildlife and aquarium supplies.
|
I often manage to merge my work and my hobbies. I have been an aquarium hobbyist since a very early
age. During the summer of 2005, while looking for a new fish tank, I found this company for sale. I partnered with the
owner to continue to operate the facility, rather than sell. I spent the next six months immersed in the marine and reef
aquarium business. In addition to producing a website for the company, I participated in all aspects of running this
business. From purchasing to sales, fish care and large systems maintenance, and a very successful eBay store. In March of
2006 I sold my share of the company and returned to the Orlando area to seek a new challenge.

management system, internet marketing campaign manager and transaction processing system integrated into a single site and
a single interface. Programming on this site continued for over a year, and the code behind it will serve as a solid
foundation for future web based application development. (HTML 4.01,DHTML / Javascript 1.2,XML/HTTP via XSLT 1.0,Cascading

- Top level company management in all aspects of marketing, personnel and technology.
- Participated in high level internet media purchasing with numerous media outlets.
- Managed all company technologies in networks, telephony and internet.
|
A former employee of Essential Marketing Concepts contacted me in March of 2004 and asked if I would
meet with some of his friends who were starting a marketing company in Orlando. In our meeting we determined that we
had many like ideas about how to build and run a marketing company of this type. Mostly based on data management. Over
the next year, I defined, designed, developed and implemented an advance online software package to manage and integrate
all of the data generated by the company. A sales and marketing campaign data analysis package that saw this company
make more than $4 million in sales in just over eight months. Although our ideas of systems and data management were
very much alike, I had major differences with the partners personnel management style. That led to my departing the company
in August of 2004.

While working at Upholstery by Dennis, I designed a simple web site for the company that offered the two products that
the company was selling well online. I used the PayPal shopping cart as the quickest way to get the site online as
PayPal was already being used by the company for eBay sales. Although I felt like I should include this project here,
it was not much of a project. This site was done in the evenings over a couple of days in May.

- Managed all aspects of shop operations.
- Carpet replacement, headliner replacement, seat re-covering.
- Various custom auto interior/trim work.
|
While restoring my 1974 Plymouth, I found Dennis Harveys' small upholstery shop in Oviedo, FL. I hired him to
install the new vinyl top on my car. While the job was being done, I talked extensively with Mr. Harvey about
my car, my hobby, his business, the car business and my web development background. Before the job was complete,
we had established a friendship, which developed into a partnership in his shop. I worked in the shop for the
next 10 months and received a great OJT education in auto upholstery and trim. Unfortunately this was not a
very profitable business, and in February of 2004 I left the partnership to seek a new opportunity.

When time permitted, I began a re-design of the MyDailyDriver site with several goals in mind; change the format
from a monthly magazine issue to a full-time e-zine; and to apply my expertise with content management and back-end to
my hobby site. This was also a good opportunity to practice site promotion and marketing and search engine optimization.
I also produced many of the graphics for the new site, which had not been one of my primary skills. This site also
provided several chances to work in Flash Studio to become more familiar with that environment.
|
| MyDailyDriver Administration | |
During the renovation of the My Daily Driver website, I wanted to make use of as much existing code as possible.
The search engine code from LocalTownBiz was used for the links database, the content management code from
InsiteOne was used and extensively re-worked for content management on this site as well as new modules for
banner advertising management and for system login and security. This administration site is ripe for a
re-write as I have since cleaned up my administration framework considerably. Stay Tuned...

manage the sites content. This management system was yet another revision of the framework started in Quik-Shop and revised
for LocalTownBiz.

After purchasing an antique car, I wanted to share pictures of it with friends on the web. Rather than keeping
it simple, I opted for an exercise in browser manipulation techniques and cross-browser/cross-platform site design. In
collaboration with a friend and fellow car hobbyist we began publishing a monthly online car magazine. After a year of
production and ten issues in the can, it became too much work to manage as a hobby and the site was converted to this
'back issues' page to allow convenient access to all the work to date.

My Daily Driver (version 1) is a Web-Based Magazine for classic car enthusiasts. This site is an
idea developed by myself and one partner. I participated in design, layout and produced content for the
site. All technical aspects of this site including hosting services, HTML and Javascript development and
deployment done by me. All promotion of this site conducted by me and has obtained over 4000 unique
visitors in its first month online. This site demonstrates advanced layout techniques and browser
manipulation. Each month from March thru December of 2001 a new "Issue" was published on the site on or about
the 15th of the month. Although My Daily Driver was very popular, other projects took precedence and monthly
updates to My Daily Driver were discontinued as of December of 2001. The domain name and hosting

Ads-Online was awarded the contract to develop a complete new corporate website for the software developer
Centerline, Inc. I was supplied with a sitemap, graphics and copy and performed the complete development of the
more than 150 page site in HTML and Coldfusion. This site incorporated a user registration that would be required
to view certain pages within the site. I reused code from the Quik-Shop administration login to create a secured
area for these 'protected' pages and designed a user registration application in place of a 'login'. This was an
extensive development project spanning over three months.

Quik-Shop was my first large-scale business application developed in Coldfusion with an Access database.
I was developing this shopping cart as an exercise while learning Coldfusion and had the opportunity to implement
the cart for Zoom Telephonics, Inc. a leading manufacturer of computer modems and telephony products at the time.
When I joined Lincoln1.com in 1998, this cart was implemented again as an online ordering system for contract clients.
The shopping cart administration pages became the basis of many future site administration and content management
applications. On this demonstration site, the administration login ID is 'admin' and the password is 'password'.
